Nokia 3.1 Android One smartphone coming to United States on July 2

If you’re a fan of Android One and want to purchase a new smartphone, you just got a new addition to your list. HMD Global, the company in charge of Nokia brand at the moment, just announced that its Nokia 3.1 Android One smartphone is coming to USA on 2nd of July. Amazon has already started accepting pre-orders for it, and HMD’s official press release says that the phone will also be available at Best Buy.

The Finnish smartphone company revealed in its press release that Nokia 3.1 will be available in 3 different color options, namely Blue (Copper), Black (Chrome) and White (Iron). Its price will begin from $159, and it will be the 2GB RAM variant that will hit the US market.

Nokia 3.1 Android One smartphone comes with latest Android Oreo operating system, and being a part of Google’s Android One program it will receive updates much faster than a large number of other low-cost devices. It comes with 5.2-inch HD LCD display, MediaTek 6750 octa-core SoC, 13mp primary camera and 8mp secondary camera. The bezels on this device are not too narrow, but it has still been blessed with an 18:9 display by HMD. In the end there’s 16GB internal storage and a 2,990 mAh battery. The device is already available in Russia, Jordan and a handful of other markets.
