It was not too long ago when we saw the images of upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab A2. Those images showed its front in all its glory. Now some other images of the tablet have leaked along with its specifications, thanks to SamMobile. And based on what we’re hearing it’s looking a fantastic mid-range tablet.
According to the latest information Galaxy Tab A2 is expected to come with 10.5-inch display, 1,920 x 1,200 px resolution, Snapdragon 450 processor, 3GB RAM and 7,300 mAh battery. For photography it’s expected to sport an 8mp main camera and 5mp secondary camera, and for storage we’re looking at 32GB of internal memory. The leaked information also reveals that this tablet will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and will also have LTE support.
Besides all this stuff it’s also expected to come with face unlocking feature if it lacks the iris scanners that are going to be the part of Galaxy Tab S4. However, this feature has not been spotted yet in any of the leaks.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 is expected to launch shortly after the launch of Galaxy Tab S4, which is its high-end sibling with features of S Pen. So we’re probably looking at a late August launch as Galaxy Tab S4 is rumored to launch alongside Note 9 on 9th of August.
