In the past, Google has unveiled its Pixel and Pixel 2 smartphones on October 4th during the year 2016 and 2017, respectively. So, it was sort of confirmed that the company will launch Pixel 3 on 4th October 2018. Few leaks in the past had suggested the same date, however, a Bloomberg report has made it questionable. The report claims that Big G is planning to launch Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL on 9th October instead of October 4th at a media event in New York. Why? Well, nobody knows.
In the last few days, Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have leaked a lot – so much that there’s hardly anything left for the company to reveal at the launch event. This suggests that work on the device has already been completed. In such a situation it’s unclear why Google would want to push the launch date by 5 days. Nevertheless, everything will become clear in the next few days. A few more leaks and we may get to know the reason why Google has chosen a different launch date this time.
Also, keep in mind that nothing is confirmed until Google itself sends out the press invites. Therefore, you should take this report with a pinch of salt and keep an eye on our updates.
