It was just a few days back when OnePlus had confirmed that it will be ditching the headphone jack in OnePlus 6T, and now the company has released its first OnePlus 6T teaser video. The video features legendary Bollywood (Indian Cinema) actor Amitabh Bachchan (who is the brand ambassador of the company) holding the phone in his hands and teasing the under-display fingerprint sensor of this upcoming flagship device. Mr. Bachchan can be heard saying in the video:
“What if I told you, there’s a cooler way to unlock your phone? The new OnePlus 6T is coming. Suna hai bahot tez hai (I’ve heard it’s too fast).”
In addition to that, the video also includes words “Touch the innovation”, which is a clear reference to the in-display fingerprint sensor. You can watch the video below:
This OnePlus 6T teaser video was planned to be aired during the recent cricket match of Asia Cup 2018 between India and Pakistan. Other major specs of the device have already leaked in past, including its 16mp+20mp dual-lens primary camera, a slightly larger 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED display having 1,080 x 2,340 px resolution, Snapdragon 845 processor and teardrop notch. The phone is likely to be launched on 17th of October, and it will be an Amazon exclusive like the majority of other OnePlus smartphones.
