After releasing the beta of Android Pie update for Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, the company is now rolling out the public release. The beta was released just 2 weeks ago and looks like it’s stable enough for the rollout. It’s worth mentioning that A2 lite is the lighter variant of elder sibling Mi A2 which received the update not so long ago.
As the device is almost close to the stock Android, the changelog is almost similar to pixel devices. The important changes include Adaptive Battery/Brightness, Digital Wellbeing, easier screen rotation in fixed rotation mode, easier text Selection, and better notification management. Some of the minor changes include App Actions, Slices, and new Accessibility menu. Apart from these, the update comes with Improved stability & performance including security patch level updated to November 5, 2018.
