Android Pie is rolling out for Nokia 5.1 Plus

Android Pie update for Nokia 5.1 Plus

Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer at HMD Global recently tweeted that Nokia has started rolling out Android Pie update for Nokia 5.1 Plus before the new year. Although his tweet doesn’t contain any details about which markets this update is being made available, it seems to be rolling out in the Asian market such as India. Last month, Nokia started rolling out Android Pie update for Nokia 7.1. From the tweet replies, it is fairly evident that the users of Nokia 8 Sirocco are still furious about Android Pie update for their device.

We were able to get our hands on what’s new in this update for Nokia 5.1 Plus. This update will bring new system navigation, settings menu and notifications UI. It will also bring adaptive brightness, and Google’s December security patch.
