Huawei P30 Pro gets listed early by Amazon Italy, confirming specs such as 10x Hybrid Zoom

With hundreds of professionals working for the application development of smartphones, it is natural that there are leaks for the features of popular brands and their upcoming models. Sometimes the company makes this news available itself so that a conversation can be stirred up. But sometimes, these leaks can be detrimental to the release of a brand new model.

This was recently experienced by the Huawei P30 Pro, where a listing went up on Amazon before the intended release. Even though this was taken down quickly, it has dropped hints of the 10X zoom along with other noteworthy upcoming features. The other confirmed features that were seen through this major leak included Huawei’s own Kirin 980 SoC, a 4,200mAh battery, and triple rear cameras with Leica lenses.

Huawei P30 Pro Camera

A 40 Megapixel main sensor is intended for the P30 Pro with additional 20 megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors. The 10X hybrid zoom, that is the hot topic of the hour, will comprise of one telephoto lens in combination with the main lens. Thus, there will be another lens option for capturing wide-angle shots. This package is accompanied by a selfie camera of 32 megapixels. For complex arrangements and depth detection, a TOF sensor will be used.

There are several other attractive features that have been brought into the limelight including the compatibility of Android 9 Pie, USB-C and an expandable storage system. There is also a micro USB to type C adapter. The design of the phone has leaked several times before, so we don’t have anything new to talk about in that department.

This is the first time that the phone has leaked in the amber sunrise color. There is a 128GB storage with an 8GB RAM for around 1163 US dollars, which isn’t very surprising to know. The P30 is due to be officially launched at an event in Paris on the 26th of March when we will get all the correct information first hand.

It is said that the Huawei P30 series leak was aided by serial leaker Evan Blass, who shared official data and images of the P30 and P30 Pro versions which disclosed the addition of a free speaker that will be included in the deal.
