It looks like OnePlus is going to surprise us with more than one flagship smartphones this time. We’ve already seen the renders of a OnePlus 7 with mechanical pop-up selfie camera a while back, and now some new renders of another OnePlus 7 version are out showing it with a more traditional selfie camera located inside a waterdrop notch. Fortunately, the bezels are almost non-existing in these renders too, which means that the design is not going to look outdated in front of its other siblings.
OnePlus 7 and Pro variant
The latest renders are courtesy of ever-reliable @Onleaks who has been correct on a number of occasions. They were first published by Pricebaba, and they’re based on the CAD designs obtained by Onleaks. The back of the device in these renders also throws in a surprise like the front, as there’s a dual-lens primary camera instead of the triple-lens setup that was seen in the previous renders.
There is very little difference between this probable OnePlus 7 design and the design of its predecessor OnePlus 6T. The only difference that you’ll notice is the location of the camera flash, which has been placed inside the camera bump this time.
Some specifications of this device have also been leaked with its renders.
For instance, we know that it may come with a 6.2-inches large full HD+ AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 855 processor. The RAM is being pegged at 6GB, which is good enough for a lower-end version of any flagship series. Its other sibling – the top-end ‘OnePlus 7 Pro’, as it’s being expected to be named on the basis of previously leaked branding – may come with as much as 10GB of RAM. But, we don’t know about its other specifications yet. More leaks may reveal that info, and as soon as that happens we’ll let you know here.
Both these OnePlus 7 devices are expected to launch on 14th of May. This is an unconfirmed launch date though, so take it with a grain of salt.
