Moto E6 specifications leaked, expected to come with Snapdragon 430 and 5.5-inch display

Motorola launched its G7 mid-range devices in February, but since then we’ve not heard anything about its other smartphones that are usually launched around this time. And if you’re aware of the company’s strategy by now you might also have understood which product line we’re talking about. Of course, we’re talking about the budget-friendly E series. If we look at history, last year Motorola had already announced Moto E5 by now. The only device we’ve heard about is Moto Razr V4, which is the company’s take on foldable display based smartphones. Fortunately, the specifications of Moto E6 leaked today.

Moto E6 Detailed Specifications

The leaked Moto E6 specifications give us an idea of what to expect from this upcoming budget smartphone. And once again the company has tried to pack in much more than one can expect from such a budget-friendly lineup. According to details leaked by a Twitter leaker named Mishaal Rahman, the device has been codenamed “surfna” by the company, and it’s expected to come with the following specifications:

  • Snapdragon 430 SoC
  • 2GB RAM
  • 13mp main camera (Samsung ISOCELL S5K3L6)
  • 5mp selfie camera (Samsung ISOCELL S5K5E9)
  • And a 5.45-inches large display with 1,440 x 720 px resolution, though Mishaal isn’t 100% sure about this one.

Mishaal also revealed that the device will come in 16GB and 32GB storage options, and will run the latest Android 9 Pie operating system. It’s also expected to launch on US carriers, but we don’t know which carriers will they be. The battery capacity wasn’t revealed by Mishaal in his leak, but since Moto E5 came with 4,000 mAh battery we think that this one should also come with a similarly powerful battery in it, if not any better than that.

We’ve still not seen any images of Moto E6, so we don’t know what will it look like. Let’s see if any other details related to this upcoming smartphone (including images) leak in the coming days. We’ll let you know in that case, so keep an eye on our updates.

Note: The images might not resemble the actual Moto E6
