Are you looking for a decent budget smartphone that offers great design, stock-Android-like experience, and connectivity of T-Mobile? Then you’re in luck, as T-Mobile has just announced the availability of Moto G7 Power on its network. The device is available for both T-Mobile as well as Metro users, which is the prepaid LTE carrier of the company. Now you may be wondering… why should I go for this device instead of other ones? And we’re going to answer this question for you in a minute.
Moto G7 Power network support and specs
The first thing is that Moto G7 Power operates on the 600MHz band of T-Mobile, which is Band 71. This band is special because it offers much better network coverage in buildings and rural areas than any other LTE band. Any smartphone without solid LTE connectivity is good for nothing, and therefore this reason alone makes Moto G7 Power a great smartphone in the budget range. But that’s not all – the price of this device also makes it a better option than other devices. It’ll be available for $238 upfront or monthly installments of $9.5 per month, which also makes it one of the cheapest LTE smartphones with stock-Android experience in the market.
Finally, let’s talk a bit about its specifications. Moto G7 Power comes with 6.2-inch Max Vision display, Android 9 Pie, 12mp main camera and 8mp selfie camera. It has also got 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage and a 5,000 mAh battery to keep it alive over a day on a single charge. On the processing front, it’s powered by Snapdragon 632. We really think that Moto should have gone for the Snapdragon 636 for this device but at this price point, we expect much.
You can get Moto G7 Power from both T-Mobile’s website as well as its retail stores. But if you want to get it from Metro, then you need to wait for two more days as it’ll be available in Metro stores from 29th of April.
