Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy A80 with an interesting take on bezel-less design. The device has a swivel pop-up camera setup which acts as both rear and front camera. Till now we have seen a different kind of notches, popup cameras, and sliding designs. The swivel pop-up camera is somewhat inspired by popup camera but after sliding up the rear camera rotates to the front and becomes selfie camera. As a result, the selfies comes out from the powerful 48MP main camera.

The device packs in recently launched Qualcomm SDM730 Snapdragon 730 (8 nm) with Octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Kryo 460 Gold & 6×1.7 GHz Kryo 460 Silver). For gaming enthusiasts, it does have the latest Adreno 618 GPU. The Display is 6.7 inches Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels (~393 ppi density). Surprisingly, the device comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Now coming to the interesting part, Samsung Galaxy A80 has two camera setup. The primary being 48 MP, f/2.0 and an ultrawide 8 MP, f/2.2. The same setup works as a selfie camera. The swivel pop-up camera is a really interesting concept. The fingerprint sensor is integrated inside the display similar to Samsung Galaxy S10. The battery has a capacity of 3700 mAh which is decent for a mid-ranger.
Samsung Galaxy A80 comes in three colors Angel Gold, Ghost White, Phantom Black. There will be a lot of other takes on the bezel-less design and we are definitely eager to see them in 2019. Till then keep reading AndroidBlogg for the latest updates in the Android world.
