Latest Moto Z4 renders show it with single-lens camera and Moto mod connector

Moto Z4 is about to be launched in the few days, and as a result, the leaks related to it have started picking pace now. Today we’ve got to see the first unofficial renders of this device, which are showing it with a waterdrop notch, almost non-existent bezels, single-lens camera, and Moto Mod connector. A 3.5mm headphone jack can be clearly seen on the top of the device. Single-lens camera and return of 3.5mm jack are things that seem to suggest that this may be a more affordable Moto Z4 Play instead of Z4 itself, but surprisingly the leakers of these renders are suggesting otherwise.

Moto Z4 family History and specs

If we go back to history, we’ll learn that Motorola was the first smartphone maker in the Android ecosystem to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack. Today this jack has remained only in its mid-range and budget devices. Therefore, its presence in this device is alone enough to suggest that it’s the Play version of the device.

In addition to that one other render of this device had also leaked a few days ago, and at that time the same leakers (@OnLeaks ) had addressed it as Moto Z4 Play. However, today @OnLeaks has said with these latest renders that this may well be the regular Moto Z4 itself. We’re, however, not convinced. So we’re considering it as either of the two devices: Z4 or Z4 Play.

Now, whichever device it is, one thing is clear from these renders – that it will support all those Moto mods which came with its predecessors. 91mobiles, the site which published these latest renders, suggests that the device will run Snapdragon 855 processor, and will also support the 5G mod of Moto Z series. This thing also reveals that we’re gonna get a Verizon device.

We don’t know yet about whether it’s Moto Z4 or Moto Z4 Play with certainty, so we’re leaving the name of the device up to your judgment. Perhaps we may see the renders of another similar device from Moto Z series in the coming days, which would add some more clarity to the picture. But until that happens or any other information comes out, take the name of this device as undecided!
