Huawei has been at the center of the US-China trade war, and for that reason, it also got blacklisted by the US government. Shortly afterward Google declared that it won’t deliver Android updates to Huawei devices in future and new models being launched will also not come with Android. Now, there is a waiting period of 3 months before this ban comes into effect, and Huawei is trying to make the most of this duration to update its existing flagship smartphones. That’s why the company has embarked on this goal of updating 49 phones within 3 months. Moreover, the company has also committed that it will update at least 14 devices to Android Q based EMUI 10.

Let’s see how successful it remains in fulfilling its commitment!
