Before Google brings Pixel 4 to the market, it wants to ensure that all updates related to older Pixel devices are rolled out as swiftly as possible. As a result, it has now rolled out the August security update and functional patches for all Pixel devices except for Pixel C. The updates rolled out today bring a number of other changes too, which we’re going to describe in the table below.

The updates are available via both routes: you can get them via OTA route, or you can also get them by flashing their individual factory images from the links shared below. But OTA route is the best route, and if you’ve not received the security update notification yet then I’ll advise you to check for it manually by navigating to Settings>System>Advanced>System update.
